Pastor Praise & Dr Lerato Nkosi

A Note from Pastor Praise:

This past April we had our wedding celebration, we are still very excited about us being together.

Its exciting to be part of what God is doing in the church.
We are not too sure why God has entrusted us with such a critical calling but we are ready to be the tools in his hands.

We are pastoring a fast growing church in South Africa right in the heart of Soweto. We have planted the church in 2005 and we have an attendance of hundred every Sunday. We are now having a "good problem", the venue that we are renting is now too small to accommodate us.

We have an explosive praise and worship every Sundays. The burden that we have is to be a model church that will set trends for the African Church not only Nazarenes but the whole Evangelical Church. Recently we have started home cells and its encouraging to see the impact it has had in the church health.

I am also part of a life changing programme called "the Silver Ring Thing". It is a sexual abstinence programme aimed at the youth. I felt it was not good enough to preach about HIV/AIDS epidemic without being actively involved in educating and informing the youth about the lethality of being sexually active before marriage.

This is but the few of what God has placed in our heart.

Blessings

Praise Nkosi

Pastor Praise & Granny,

Trust you had an awesome flight to America and especially to Raleigh.
Make sure you give my church family a bunch of "Jesus Hugs". They will know what you are talking about. Love & prayers.

We serve an AWESOME GOD!
From the first prayer on Friday night to the last amen on Wednesday night and EVERYTHING in between. I feel so greatful that GOD honored us with HIS presence.

WOOOOOOW!

This can NOT be the end of just another Mission Conference but it MUST be the beginning of how we do "Church" IF we are to be what GOD called us to be. If we are to take seriously—"BEING TRULY MISSIONAL THROUGH DISCIPLESHIP".
May the words of encouragement, the emotion—not fall on shallow ground BUT rather produce something BIGGER than ourselves. Let us as a Church be mobilized into enlarging the Kingdom—through DISCIPLESHIP.

Thank you so much for inviting us to come and minister to you. I must say in the process of us ministering to you we got to be ministered to, by your openness to the gospel. You really fellowshipped from your hearts.

God is going to bless Raleigh First (RFN) in a big way and generations will reap the benefits from your willingness to be sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit. In the history of our Church (Nazarene) you are the first church to invite an African minister to come and minister to you. It's a thrill for me to see the prophecy of Bruce Shirley, a Church historian being fulfilled—"there will come a time when Africans will come to the U.S.A. & Britain to bring revival & ignite the fires which were once ablaze.”

My prayer is that you may be an example to other American Churches, shine your light high so that the world may see your goodness!!

May the Lord enlarge your territory. Continue to be truly missional & the Lord will bless you indeed!
